Privacy policy
patong4you collects as little personal data as possible: no advertising, no tracking cookies, no selling of data.
Last updated: 2026-11-05 (version 1.0)
Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is Nareerat Phetsoongnern, publisher of patong4you, Patong, Phuket, Thailand — contact: contact@patong4you.com. This policy applies the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area or the UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
What data is collected, and why?
1. Messages you choose to send
The contact form and the business form prepare an email to contact@patong4you.com. They include what you type (for example your name, email address, optional phone or LINE ID, business name and message) and the date and time you ticked the consent box, with the version of this policy. A copy of the same information may be stored on the site’s content system so that requests are not lost.
- Purpose: to read and answer your message, and to consider a business for the guide.
- Legal basis: your consent (PDPA section 19; GDPR article 6(1)(a)) and the steps you ask for before any arrangement (GDPR article 6(1)(b)). You can withdraw consent at any time.
2. Audience measurement
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits and measure page speed. They do not use cookies, do not build profiles and do not identify you; data is aggregated. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site useful and fast (PDPA section 24(5); GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
3. Technical logs
Like any web host, Vercel processes technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. These logs are kept for a short period by the host.
No tracking cookies, advertising networks or social-media trackers are used.
Who receives the data?
- Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosting, analytics and technical logs.
- Sanity AS (Norway) — storage of the copy of messages, when enabled.
- The email provider used to receive messages sent to contact@patong4you.com.
Data is never sold or shared for marketing. Where data is processed outside Thailand or the EEA, it is done with providers bound by contractual safeguards (such as EU standard contractual clauses).
How long is it kept?
- Messages: up to 24 months after the last exchange, then deleted.
- Consent records: as long as needed to show that consent was given, then deleted with the message.
- Analytics: aggregated statistics only.
What are your rights?
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your data, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time — write to contact@patong4you.com. You will get an answer within 30 days.
You may also complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) in Thailand, or, if you are in the EEA or the UK, to your local data-protection authority.
Children
The site is not aimed at children, and forms should not be used by anyone under 18.
